The Student Affairs Business Services Center (SABSC) is the Shared Service Center committed to delivering top-tier administrative support, financial management, human resources, and optimized business processes for the Division of Student Affairs (DoSA). We focus on standardizing processes to eliminate redundancies and facilitate seamless workflows, ensuring cohesive and aligned operations. With a high level vantage point across all areas, we are dedicated to fostering a unified approach that enhances the overall effectiveness and excellence of the Division of Student Affairs.
The Student Affairs Business Services Center (SABSC) office is in charge of all payroll preparations for students and staff who work under the Division of Student Affairs. We also manage on campus student organizations under the Student Government Association (SGA) and Graduate Student Association (GSA) at UMBC by processing deposits, purchases/payments, reimbursements, flights/travel, and distribution of cash boxes for events/fundraisers.
We can answer questions regarding departmental payroll, paychecks, student organization’s carryover account, SGA funding, travel, reimbursements and purchases/payments.
